Bogi Þór Arason is a wildlife photographer, accountant, translator, journalist and a proud grandfather
- Studied English, English, and American Literature at the University of Iceland and New York University.
- Worked as a journalist at Morgunblaðið, a newspaper in Iceland, for 32 years.
- Is married to Hanna Guðjónsdóttir, has two daughters, Magdalena and Ástrún Anna, and two grandsons, Ísak Þór and his big brother, Benjamín Leó, who is very enthusiastic about dinosaurs, birds, and cameras.
- I have been doing bird photography for several years. I have learned that almost limitless patience is necessary to catch the moments in the life of birds, for they are among the most challenging subjects for photographers. Many of the birds are very agile, and can’t stay still, while others are extremely wary, and terrified of humans.
„The early bird gets the worm.
The early worm… gets eaten.”
